Judy Greco, Grade 6 Counselor

Jude Greco

Jude Greco was born in Burlington, Vermont and moved to Maine when she was 8 years old. She graduated from high school in Maine and attended college in Colorado. She received her first degree, a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science, from the University of Southern Colorado. Jude went on to receive a degree in education from the University of Maine. Jude earned her Masters of Educational Counseling at the University of Maine. She moved to Las Vegas in 1991 where she has worked at the middle school level for the past 16 years. Jude has been at Greenspun JHS for the past seven years. She is dedicated to ensuring that all students attending Greenspun JHS have a positive school experience.

Lynette Dodge, Grade 7 Counselor

Lynette Dodge

Lynnette Dodge received her Bachelor of Art Education from Colorado State University. In 1993, Lynnette moved to Nevada where she taught art in the Clark County School District for five years before earning her Masters of Educational Psychology from UNLV in 1998. Lynnette has happily worked with over 3,000 students and parents during her thirteen years in the Clark County School District. This is Lynnette's sixth year at Greenspun Junior High School and her eighth year as a counselor at the middle school level. Lynnette has special interests in adolescent development, art therapy, and solutions-focused counseling. Lynnette enjoys creating and presenting guidance lessons to students and working with students individually and in small groups.

John Halpin, Grade 8 Counselor

John Halpin is a true Southern Nevada native. He was born in Henderson and attended Las Vegas schools through high school. He received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UNLV. He then received his master’s degree in Special Education from UNLV as well. He taught special education at Paradise ES and Red Rock ES. He went back for his second Master’s degree in School Counseling at UNLV. Before he came to Greenspun JHS, he spent the last five years as a counselor at Cunningham ES. He enjoys reading, the outdoors, and spending time with his family.
